Methods: In a descriptive-analytical study, 190 coronary artery disease patients treated with drug or surgery methods selected by purposeful sampling method from the list of one of Tehran hospital patients. Then, during a structured interview, Nottingham quality of life questionnaire completed for each patient. Data analyzed by independent T test and χ2. Results: The mean score for quality of life in patients treated with surgical and drug methods were 18.56±3.25 and 23.39±4/23, respectively. Independent T-test showed a significant difference between the two methods (p<; 0.05). Conclusion: Although CABS treatment is more difficult and cost more, but it is more apprpriate. Informing to people about this method should be more to provide comprehensive facilities and conditions necessary to apply it. |
