The following Criteria Are Considered for Authorship:
Substantial Contribution: Authors should have made significant intellectual contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study or research presented in the publication. Merely providing funding, data collection, or technical assistance may not be sufficient for authorship.
Drafting and Revising the Manuscript: Authors should have actively participated in the writing and revision of the manuscript, ensuring its intellectual content and accuracy. They should also be willing to take responsibility for the content of the publication.
Approval of The Final Version: Authors should have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript before its submission for publication. This includes being accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Authors should have been involved in the analysis and interpretation of the data presented in the publication. They should be able to explain and defend the validity of the results and conclusions.
Intellectual Engagement: Authors should demonstrate an active and meaningful intellectual engagement with the work. This can include participating in discussions, providing critical input, and contributing to the development of ideas and concepts presented in the publication.
Acknowledgment of Other Contributors: Individuals who have made substantial contributions but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately in the publication's acknowledgments section. |
