Duetothecomplexityof attitudeof care, thesafetycultureandthecareof patientsplayamajorroleinsafecare. Objectives: Thepresentstudyaimedtoassessthequalityof safenursingcareintheCardiacCareUnit. Methods: ThisisadescriptivestudyconductedintheCardiacCareUnitof BaqiyatallahHospitalin2018. Allnursingstaffworking inthecardiaccareunitcomprisedthesampleof thestudy.SafenursingcarewasmeasuredusingatooldesignedbyRashvandetal. in2015. DatawereanalyzedbySPSSversion21. ThisstudywasapprovedbytheethicscommitteeinBMSU. Results: Theresultsshowedthatthemajorityof theresearchsample(55%)wasmalewithanaverageageof 42.85±9.66yearsand aworkingexperienceof 19.05±8.4years. Themeanscoreof theethicaldimensionwas17.47±1.92. Conclusions:Theresultsof thisresearchcanbeusedineducationalplanningattheundergraduatelevelof nursingtoeducatethe students from the beginning of education, especially in the first semester, regarding patient safety, in particular, ethics, and safe care,inordertomakeiteasiertouseinthefutureandtoreducetheneedforin-servicetrainingprograms.
